Hello my friends, this Princess has to tell you that Mom is really trying to keep us from being stressed while Mom and Dad are trying to sell their house after paying it off. So as some of you know from Catster we will be moving to Arizona the end of April/first week in May..

We will be moving up in the foothills of a mountain, lots of open space and scarey animals out there. Well since they are selling the house strangers are coming and going, looking at our house. We all run and hide hoping none of them will see us. When they have open house we have to all be in a big cage out in the garage, I must say this princess does not like it at all..last time we where in there Mom put our beds and heating pads in there so it was a little better for us.

Mom is really trying to make this time not so stressful, but it is hard..she worries about our drive to Arizona luckily it is only a 6 to 7 hour drive..then we will have all new adventures to write about. There will be times when we can't be here..Mom gives us all lots of love and attention making sure we are OK, she knows this is hard on all of us.
Hugs

Hi Mia and Timmy Tomcat thank you for your purrs and comments...Mom already has each of us a carrier to be kept in, a small container for our litter, we will all have to wear harnesses and leashes too & we will be buckled in.

Mom has our big cat cage for us to be in except for Kandi...Mom probably will keep her in one of the bathrooms with a sign for no one to go in. Mom knows it will be very stressful for us and hard on all of us. I hate my carrier, so Mom is already planning on something to keep us calm...oh this will be so much fun with 5 cats and 2 doggies all in one vehicle.
Mom and Dad will need all the purrs and prayerswub

I am purring fur you and your furrmily! I was driven from N. Carolina to N. Illinois to my Momma in "legs" by different drivers. I would assume that your trip will be fairly easy as long as you are safely contained in case of accident, have frequent stops to use the litter pan and have a bit of something to eat and/or drink, plus (most impawrtent!) have the love and understanding of your Mom and Dad! We kitties don't understand things like that and I sure let my discontent be known while I was traveling! Being a Meezer, that means yelling and screeching the whole way...FURRY LOUD! MOL.... Ask your vet about the safest way that he or she recommends and talk to others who have transported kitties. I'm sure it will all be fine. Some kits need a mild tranquilizer. The most impawrtent part is to be SURE the kitties are contained while movers and others are going in and out of the houses! We get scared and lose our little kitty-minds and run when we are scared!
